Not much to do out there on the mind-bending Salar de Uyuni, other than kick-box rogue T-Rexs and play air guitar...

...and dig for magical salt crystals that lurk in the icy water beneath the disconcertingly thin top layer of dried salt...

A good few hours of playing out there, then our last lunch with the Irish twits* and a stop off in some dry, dusty little village at the edge of the salt flat with free-range pigs and bbq dog, before a night in Uyuni on our way to La Paz.

*No tears shed, simply the following conversation:
Irish Twit #2 (wrinkling her nose up in disgust at the sight of our fresh salad with salmon and goats cheese): "Oh god, what is that? Is that cheese? Has anyone tried the cheese yet? I don't think I can eat this"
Carly: "It's poison cheese. Have a whole plateful."

I take it the free range pigs and bbq dog were just for company and not for eating ? You surely wouldn't - that would make you a cannibal you know since i believe you have been discribed as a bitchy pig!
